Something about Chinese painting.

By chance I encountered a book about the Zen Buddhism. As Chinese, I’m profoundly touched by the “void” philosophy, which been mistakenly interpreted as “emptiness”,”escape” by many people. As a matter of fact, it means “change”. The unpredictable “future” life. Everything happens for a reason, because of something that has happened before or because of our mind at one moment. Nothing can remain unchangeable, thus all is “void”.

It’s rather something one can only understand by heart than explaining by words. Anyhow because of this, I started to have a lot of interests about Chinese ancient art, calligraphy, music, books, etc.

One girl, her name is Ling Xi, born 80s’, is a contemporary artist. I love her paintings. They make people smile. Here are some of them…
