Icelandic Lamb soup

I believe that it’s a tradition for Icelander to have a lamb soup during the winter time.

I ignore if it was the 1st day of winter yesterday. Soup is delivered freely all over the town. With the temperature dropped only to 2 degrees and the wind is becoming more and more severe, we do need some decent nordic broth to warm up.

In Chinese tradition, we eat dumplings (huntun, jiaozi), lamb, rice with red beans and kind a rice alcohol, infused with sweet olive flower.
