It’s been a month that I settled down in reykjavik, a small town (compare to shanghai and paris) with less than 150,000 inhabitants.
Everything is quite centralized, you know where to go for the best fish, the best coffee, the best hamburger, the best sheep head, the best Italian, the best Thai, the best hairdresser, the best wine bar, etc. Like my boyfriend always say, in a small community like Iceland, people know each other, and sometimes it’s good and sometimes it’s bad.
It’s getting dark earlier and earlier, after a pouring rain yesterday, the air is so fresh this morning. I love it! A deep breath to clean the lung.
I’m also trying to find a job, sending CVs to headhunters. My icelandic courses are on the go too, it’s a little bit more difficult than I thought. I compare it to French sometimes. But I know I can learn it well.
