Birthday of Reykjavik

Last Saturday was the birthday of Reykjavik, also the beginning of a series of festivals. The streets are filled with crazy crowds. Also, it was the 50th birthday of a close friend of Làrus. The party was amazing, probably one of the most breath-taking apartment I’ve ever seen in Reykjavik, with a beautiful garden, a swimming pool and a terrific view to the Atlantic ocean. Round 23:15, there was a fireworks show. In France, only in National Day, people can see the fireworks, which reminds me when I was little in China, I used to love playing fireworks! During ten days, you can hear them in every corners and people are allowed to play fireworks almost everywhere!

It’s been more than a month since I’m in Iceland. Although it’s a small country compare to France/China/whatever, people are extremely open-minded and incredibly nice. I cannot wait to start a real life with the one I love.
